Ruth and her team have totally transformed our external living space. ELD transformed our ordinary estate house garden into an enchanting, secluded extension of our living area. The garden incorporated an extensive walled patio area for barbecues and for outdoor dining, pergolas covered in wisteria and clematis and a shady area for those hot summer days.

The design incorporated two distinct areas; a Mediterranean style gravel patio area and a lawn shrub / herbaceous garden. We feel that our garden was a real asset as when we put our house up for sale it sold within the week (we had two offers in that first week) at a price higher than the valuations. All of the viewers commented on the distinctive garden. We have again invited ELD to design our garden in our new house.

The new planting proposal by Elwood Landscaping Design is excellent in my view, and may be accepted as satisfying the requirement of any future planning permission landscape condition. A very wide range of plant species and some real design flair has gone into the treatment of the frontage garden area. I am pleased to note the Catalpa is used to reflect the preserved ones that may be lost to the development.
