Understanding the landscape…
ELD recommends an initial site visit to gain an overview of the development area and surrounding landscape to appraise existing site conditions. Consideration of Local Plan designations in relation to proposed development may also be considered at this stage, to ensure a complete design assessment and to achieve the best landscape, environmental and planning solution.
From a Site Survey and Appraisal, ELD can understand and interpret for you:
- Size, scale & feasibility of site proposals.
- Landscape & Visual Assessment of: character, quality, topography, drainage, existing vegetation, Local Plan designations, views in / out & visual impacts.
- Potential development constraints and potential areas for maximising landscape design.
We undertake work throughout East Anglia including the counties of Suffolk, Norfolk, Essex and Cambridgeshire. Work further afield may also be considered.
