This large garden associated with a working farm required significant restoration, following the invasion of moles across lawns and years of ‘patching’ over surfaces to terraces and courtyards around the house.
Concrete and asphalt surfaces were removed and relaid with Indian sandstone, linked throughout by new self binding gravel paths leading to different garden areas. New hard and soft landscape were support by a strong framewok of mature trees, that enhanced the setting, to include a weeping ash tree. New lawns were laid in preparation for family weddings, as illustrated below.
